If you hadn’t noticed or read the South Wales Echo on Tuesday, December 19th then you missed out!
We had a very, very small article written promoting the website and the ongoing petitions that have we’ve been campaigning with over the past few months.
For your enjoyment, and basically for cool purposes, I’ve put the article up on the site for all to read. Unfortunately the paper will never be sold again with the article in it, so we wanted to preserve the moment!
A very many thanks to Andrew Pearson (a freelance journalist based in South Wales) for all of his hard work and continued efforts to help promote the petitions and get a DVD release! He has been working closely with us over the past month or so and has been bending over backwards to get the press to take notice…thank you.
If you have not yet signed the petitions, please do so by visiting our DVD page and sign your interest on each of the four petitions in order to help get the shows we love so dearly released!
For those who may not be able to read the article (shown right) here it is…
DVD plea to BBC for Valleys comedy duo
COMEDY fans have launched a campaign to have two Valleys TV series released on DVD.
Two petitions have been launched to persuade the BBC to put Satellite City and High Hopes on DVD.
Campaign organiser Jonathan Thomas, 23, of Bridgend, said: “We’re determined to make the Beeb aware of the large fan bases for both shows.”
See www.satellitecitytv.net to sign the petitions.
