On the 4th December 2009, after years of trying to get our hands on a DVD of pure Welsh television gold, 10 years after it’s final broadcast, Satellite City is here!
Over 1,000 signatures and almost four years later, Fiction Factory Films have given us fans the opportunity to own a piece of Welsh history, and can have something that we can all be proud of on our shelves, in time for Christmas too!
At this point, I’d like to say a personal thank you to all who helped by signing the petition, and to those who created facebook groups and spread the word. It was indeed a tremendous success and we can all now say, “We made it happen! We got Satellite City out on DVD”, who’d have thought it was possible! It was hard work but it’s certainly nice to have something to show for it.
So, don’t hesitate, put your money where your mouth is and go and get what you’ve been waiting for for all these years!

hurrah! We want high hopes on dvd now.
Definitely would love to see the whole six series (plus Specials) of “High Hopes” on DVD.
At long last… Looking forward to getting High Hopes on DVD… my family will be thrilled!
Rachel, unfortunately there are no plans, to my knowledge to release High Hopes on DVD, Satellite City is out though. Unless you’ve heard otherwise of course!
Are we having High Hopes Now too?????
there is a pettition online to get high hopes on dvd would be great to have it R.I.P Margaret John great elegant woman and am glad to say that i have had the pleasure of meeting this lady and she really is a nice lady
Have just ordered Sat. City DVD. Came across site while trying to find out if a rerun of S.C. or High Hopes was imminent at all—apparantly not, yet both used to be repeated quite often. I dont tire of the repeats at all, of either of them—there are very few repeats that I care to watch again, and this is the first recording of a comedy series I have ever bought! Will buy High Hopes too if made. Will try to get people to sign petition for re-runs, but trouble is, whenever I have ever asked anyone if they’ve seen SC or HH they havn’t!!!
