Boyd Clack & Kirsten Jones will be treading the red carpet at the world première of ‘Risen’ at Cardiff International Arena (CIA) on Thursday 29 July 2010.
Boyd Clack is playing a leading role, Howard Winstone Senior, in the feature film RISEN, which is going to be premièred in Cardiff later this month – a red carpet affair and “the first ever Welsh film to get a World Première on Welsh soil.”
The film is about Howard Winstone his son – a world boxing champion from Merthyr. This is going to be a big night not to be missed.
Tickets to see the film are being made available to the general public from the CIA, which is to a record audience of 5000 with many boxing champions coming from all over the world. For those people wanting to join celebrities and boxing stars, tickets are available from the CIA box office or at the WBC Night of Champions festival website www.wbcnightofchampions.com.
Proceeds from the World Premiere and the Festival will be going to two charities: Noah’s Ark, supporting the children’s hospital, and WBC Sporting Chances, a long-term legacy project to support disadvantaged youth and the rehabilitation of young offenders in South Wales.
