Satellite City - The Complete Series on DVD
Many of us have waited and strived for a commercial release of the likes of Satellite City for nearly 10 years! Boyd Clack personally gets asked on a daily basis, more than once, “When will we get a DVD of…?” Until now, all he has been able to say is “Ask the BBC”. Now we have a Satellite City DVD (read more about how the satellitecitytv.net campaign made it happen), we now turn our attentions to getting another of Boyd’s shows on DVD, High Hopes.
The BBC have on numerous occasions said, for High Hopes, that “although there are no current plans for a commercial release, they have registered our interest with the correct authorities at the BBC”.
We figure that High Hopes won’t get released on DVD because the market is too small for a commercial release. Currently High Hopes is only viewable in Wales via BBC 2W Digital on the odd rerun. However, more and more people are interested in watching the shows from outside Wales.
So we need to get more people to become fans, here’s how:
We’ve made a petition for an international (Wales, U.K. and anywhere else that wishes to sign their interest) rerun/broadcast of both Satellite City and High Hopes.
Sign the ‘High Hopes’ Television Rerun Petition
The more signatures we have on these petitions the more likely the BBC will listen and rebroadcast the shows and more people will become fans and are likely to sign the DVD petition, which is the most important and is the ultimate goal of these petitions.
Remember…TV bosses DO listen to public opinion, so tell your friends to email and sign the petitions too!

Please Note: All of these petitions will be sent to the BBC. Please take time to carefully construct your request and give good reasons why you’d like to see the shows on a commercial DVD release or on a rerun, remember, they are quality shows that have given you hours of enjoyment and pleasure, give them the good writeup they deserve.
