High Hopes Update - By Jonathan Thomas

High Hopes started filming its fifth series last week (commencing the 5th February) and already there has been turmoil and excitement galore!

Word around the camp is that Ben Evans isn't playing Charlie this time around, it seems that he has double booked and is playing a role in the West End. Although no official word has been given, please stay tuned for more news here at SatelliteCityTV.net. We have no idea of who will be playing Charlie this series, who knows it could still be Ben!

On the 'OFFICIAL NEWS' side of things however, some exciting stuff here...

Pauline McLynn

It seems that in following the finale of Series 4 being shown BBC2W on the 16th February, in the trend of the way the series' have been flowing one after another, it seems that we will be getting Series 5 on March 1st St. David's Day at the special one off time of 8.30pm. The proceeding episodes will be shown more suitably after the watershed.

The first episode of the new series will star 'Father Ted' favourite Pauline McLynn, who played household cleaner Mrs. Doyle. So here's hoping for a great series and some more memorable moments. Boyd and Kirsten are yet to write the final episodes of the series but we are sure to be in for some fantastic comedy.

Flick, the Welsh horror film set for release some time this year has been well under production and seems to have some great actors involved in the project. Two of which are our favourites, Mr. Clack doing a scene alongside Faye Dunaway as a one handed Lieutenant McKenzie! Kirsten Jones also stars in a scene alongside Chocolat's (Pere Henri) Hugh O'Connor. Look out for updates on filming and a review of the film on here!
