Richard Stuckley - Mark Heal
Richard Stuckley is the local bully and a
very unreasonable man. In Episode 1 he is after Gwynne for tipping
his drink in the Boar's Head pub.
Mark Heal has also had many small roles in
well known shows such as 'Coronation Street', 'The Bill', 'Doctors'
and 'Holby City'.

Spike Malarky - Brian Hibbard
Series 1 ˇ Episode 2
Spike Malarky has been in and out of prison
for years, he is a renowned criminal and is a dodgy character.
Brian Hibbard is better known for being one
of the "Flying Picketts", an Acappella group that had
a number one UK hit single: 'Only You' in 1983. He has acted in
some big films such as 'Revolver', Dai Rees in 'Twin Town' as
well as being part of the new Welsh based film 'The Baker'. He's
played smaller roles in soaps such as 'Coronation Street' and
'Emmerdale'.

Postman Pat Parker - Richard Elfyn
Series 1 ˇ Episode 3
Pat Parker is an old friend of Gwynne and
Moira's, in an attempt to teach Gwynne a lesson, Moira goes to
Southerndown with Pat. Turns out that Gwynne's jeaousy is needless
as as Pat turns out to be gay!
Richard Elfyn has also acted in 'Belonging'.

Doctor - Catherine Tregenna
Series 1 ˇ Episode 4
Brought in to help Idris in his time of illness,
although she's not very helpful!
Catherine Tregenna has written more than
she's acted, episodes for 'Casualty' and 'Eastenders'.
She wrote the play "Art and Guff".
Most recently Catherine wrote two episodes
for the BBC's 'Dr. Who', successful spin off show 'Torchwood'
Episode 10 - "Out Of Time" and Episode 12 - "Captain
Jack Harkness". She appeared in the 'Torchwood' Declassified
episodes also, "Out Of Time" and "Blast from the
Past", where she talks about her two episodes.

English Stan - Nicholas Courtney
Series 1 ˇ Episode 4
English Stan is the Price's ex-lodger who
killed himself because he felt he couldn't live as he wanted to.
When Idris sees him in his dream, he sees Stan wearing women's
clothes!
Born in 1929 in Cairo, Egypt, Nicholas Courtney
has acted in 'Doctor Who', 'Doctors' and a small role in 'Only
Fools and Horses'.

Ron Jasper - Hugh Thomas
Series 2 ˇ Episode 1 - Hard Sell
Ron Jasper is the most evil person in the
valleys, a con-man who gets Idris to sign a contract that binds
the Price's to over a grands worth of investment.
Hugh Thomas also plays Mrs. Coles husband,
Walter in High Hopes.

Alf - Howell Evans
Series 2 ˇ Episode 5 - With A Face Like Mine
Alf is a friend of Idris' who encourages him to
think about grandchildren.
Hywell Evans has appeared in 'Little Britain',
'My Family', 'Casualty', 'Coronation Street' and 'The Bill'. As
well as the major film 'The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But
Came Down a Mountain'.

Yvonne Lewis - Sue Roderick
Series 2 ˇ Episode 6 - Bloody Yvonne
Yvonne Lewis is visiting the Price's in order to
get some comforting. Gwyn relights a flame he once had for her,
solely based on a naughty secret she told him when they were younger,
but even that turned out to be untrue. Moira and Yvonne get to
be best friends while she visits.
Sue Roderick has also acted in 'Twin Town',
'Coronation Street', 'Mortimer's Law', Pobol-Y-Cwm' and 'A Mind
To Kill'.

Don Blackmore - Ian Puleston-Davies
Series 3 ˇ Episode 1 - Fear And Trembling
Don Blackmore is sent to inspect the Cosmo, the
brewery think that it's unfit for public use. Don Blackmore has
already got a bad name throughout the valleys as he closed down
Donna's previous employers and put her out of the job. He also
stole Rosalie from under Dai's nose and is considered one of
Dai's worst enemies until they find that they have something in
common in the third series' first episode "Fear and Trembling".
Ian Puleston-Davies has made appearances
in the popular con show 'Hustle', as well as the Alan Partridge
Show and episodes of 'The Bill'. He was able to draw upon his
own experience as he wrote "Dirty Filthy Love" in which
the two main characters suffered from the same Obsessive Compulsive
Disorder that he does.

Customer - Martin Troakes
Series 3 ˇ Episode 1 - Fear And Trembling
A customer wrongly identified as the inspector
sent from the brewery to view the Cosmo. Instead he's just a regular
customer wanting a rest-bite, however, between Moira and Randy
making fools of themselves and Dai throwing mental fits about
the place, he soon feels uneasy and wants to escape!
Martin Troakes has also made appearances
in 'Soldier Soldier', 'Holby City', 'The Bill', 'Ultimate Force'
and 'Dalziel and Pascoe'.

Doctor - John Pierce Jones
Series 3 ˇ Episode 3 - Chronicle Of Death Foretold
The doctor that brings the news that Dai
has been made famous by the picture of his 'Old Boy' in a famous
worldwide selling magazine, as predicted by Madame Zara the fortune
teller.
John Pierce Jones has also appeared in cult
film 'Brazil', the famous 'Blackadder', the equally as famous
'Only Fools and Horses' and 'Casualty'.

Vicar - William Thomas
Series 3 ˇ Episode 3 - Chronicle Of Death Foretold
The vicar brought in by Idris to bless Gwynne
before he dies, but he turns up drunk, useless and forgets the
right words!
William Thomas is one of only five actors
that have appeared in both the classic 'Doctor Who' and in the
new series. Plays a major role as 'William James' in the Welsh
drama 'Belonging'. Has also starred in 'Twin Town' and made appearances
in 'Pobol-Y-Cwm' and 'A Mind To Kill'.

Ellen - Helen Griffin
Series 3 ˇ Episode 4 - Never Too Old
Became close to Idris as they met on his
bench and talked about their ferrets! Although Moira and Gwynne
felt she was pushing her way into the family in order to inherit
Idris' house, it turned out she was really a man and only ever
wanted a friendship with Idris.
Helen Griffiths has starred in the movies
'Human Traffic' and 'Twin Town', aswell as making appearances
in the new 'Doctor Who' and 'Holby City'.

Mr. Matthias-No-Credit - Owen Money
Special Episode - From Here To Maternity
Mr. Matthias-No-Credit is an evil shopkeeper
who is a very grumpy old so and so. He ruthlessly threw Randy
out for protesting against his stock, and then accuses Gwynne
of shoplifting. A truly unlikable fellow.
Owen Money is a well known cult Welsh figure
who is known more for his pantomime and stage work. As well as
regular t.v. presenting and radio work he has only ever acted
a cameo role in Satellite City.
